Let’s talk about the new premium starter kit and back to school!

Yesterday Tyler had been lathargic and I contributed it very little sleep over the last 2 days – just life and fun getting in the way, but what really became a red flag was that he would sit and it would take him a very long time to eat, and then he sat next to me and I could feel heat from his body. So, I check to see if his internal body was at a normal level which is was not. Then I asked to look in to his throat and those germ catchers in the back of his throat appeared to be rather large.

So I made up Capsule mixtures of the vitality lines of Lemon, Lavender, Peppermint, Thieves, Oregano, Basil and Thyme . Throat massage of Eucalyptus, Oregano and Coconut Oil. Foot blend of RC, Oregano, Eucalyptus, Thyme and Basil. Euchancea Tea with drops of Thieves vitality. In the Diffuser -Thieves, Eucalyptus and Peace & Calming.

Peppermint Oil on the forehead and back of neck with a cold compress. Every 1-2 hours, I was getting up and changing out the compresses and checking that body heat. It elevated higher for a while (added more peppermint oil and colder compresses when that happened) but by 800a it was a normal and comfortable level. He got out of bed asking for breakfast.

The Germ Catchers in the back of the throat are a little larger than normal but not like they were last night. So normal morning Ningxia Red and vitamins and a soft breakfast, another round of capsules, throat rub and foot rub. Tea with Thieves. The body heat is still registering at a normal level.
According to his chart, last night the level of discomfort was at a 6 and this morning at a 2.

I know with these things we are not out of the woods yet – and I will give an afternoon round of capsules, throat rub and foot rub and tea and keep the diffuser going. A good Epsom salt bath tonight and prayerfully all OTC and pharmacuticals can be avoided, but if not then at least a reduced amount.

The naturopathic doctor I went and saw the Thursday explained to me that the MTFHR gene mutation Tyler has affects absorption especially of folate and she said that I probably have too (due to the things I talk about with my health) she said that he/we need a different type of B vitamin. She said that the Super B from Young Living is a great B vitamin but it is missing this ingredient needed for those with this gene mutation and you have to get a special B vitamin.  The B vitamin needed for this mutation needs to have Folate (as calcium L-5methyltetrahydrofolate) in it. She said if you didn’t have this mutation Super B would be fine. She said MTHFR mutations are hereditary so he inherited it from me, the bio dad or both. (She actually has both markers so she is familiar with this mutation) She said where he was deficient in his blood work on certain things (me too) could be as a result of not having the ability to absorb. So she said, keep with everything else I am doing (she didn’t try to sell me all her products or get me to change from what I was using with YL) and add this B vitamin and see if I see improvements. She asked me about fish oil and I said, yes, and I float around from brands and right now I am using a plant base for the omegas and she said go back to fish oil not plant based. I told her ok. I commonly us a Nordic brand and she said that those are good, but I did buy the one she sells (about the same price) so I could get started that night. She said since he’s autistic to give him 2 a day.  She looked at the ingredients in Ningxia Red and we discussed the multi-greens and she said, that I could increase his Ningxia Red to 4oz a day – so I am increasing it to 3 for about a month then I will divide it to 2oz in the AM and 2oz around 300p after I get this B vitamin in his system for 30 days. When she looked at the toxic metals she said, he still showing some significant levels (but not past the high ranges) in some things but since I am working on detoxing the home that it could be environment related (and probably is because we live in a toxic environment and that these levels would probably be higher if I wasn’t doing what I was doing and to keep up what I am doing at home with the chemical free living – she said that is very important removing all those toxins and she looked at the YL products I use and said that they all appeared to be good – she was glad to know oral care was chemical free, body soaps, hand soaps were chemical free, laundry detergent chemical free and no dryer sheets and she liked that my household cleaner was all plant based) She said all in all that Tyler’s numbers look good and for me to keep up the good work. She said she was surprised that normally her AU you kiddos numbers are not this great. We discussed all the vitamins he was taking – his YL regimen and then the others that aren’t YL and she was said “yes that is ok” to all of them.  She wants me to switch to Magnesium Glycinate since it absorbs easier and that the Calcium Asportate is also easier to absorb (which we use already) she said to stay away from soy (which we do) and keep the quality of products I put in our system as high as I possible can keep them. She was supportive of my oil use for allergies, sleep, calming, immune boosting, focus and all and when she was explaining to me the purity of vitamins and I said, I do understand that with the purity of YL oils seed to seal process and that their vitamins are oil infused, so she spoke my language on “purity matters”. So I am hoping with this B vitamin that will help with absorption and hoping to continue to see more improvement with Tyler and that I feel the difference too. My brain is so tired LOL. After reading about the MTHFR mutation for a couple of years I thought I would pursue it.  Tyler has the C677T heterozygous mutation.  There are various versions and types of the MTHFR mutation.

4 years ago when I started the yl journey with Tyler i was not able to do hair & blood tests due to expense. I saved my money for these tests. I worked on removing toxic chemicals in toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorants, household cleaning, laundry, body & handsoaps, which I use mostly YL products and/or make my own. I try to keep his diet as clean as possible (that is a harder task) . I utilize YL oils for seasonal discomforts, head discomforts, respiratory support, immune building, sleep support, & feelings of being overwhelmed in situations or overly concerned about things. I use many YL supplements targeted for various things including overall health. From 2011-2016 he was taking Abilify for aggression, impulsive behaviors & anxiety. From about 2004-2016 he took OTC claritin, zyrtec or allegra everyday. He has been Abilify free for 2 years and no longer takes those other otc meds on a daily basis (maybe 1-2 times in a season – thank you lemon, lavender & peppermint young living oils). Tyler has had very little as needed prescription (antibotic) or otc medication in the last 2 years. Tyler’s progress & behavior changes speak volumes. I don’t know what the levels were before but my mom gut knows they weren’t this low ( take the time to research how toxins affect brain, gut, emotions & behavior). I work on immunity so that prescriptions or otc are used very little. I am just a mom on a mission to help my son manage his diagnosis in the most natural way! I was elated when I saw how low these toxin levels were. Yes i know many will push it aside since i dont have a comparison from 4 years ago but i wont lose sleep over those opinions 😏😉 because i do trust my mom gut. I had a more testing done on him, learned he does have a version of mthfr gene mutuation now i know Tyler WILL NOT go without Ningxia Red, he needs the antioxidant benefit of that drink. The gene mutuation will be my next passion lol. When reading about this mutation a couple years go, i saved the money for this test, my mom gut told me one thing i needed to changed prior to testing was his B vitamins. Before YL he took folic acid in B vitamins, Tyler has been taking Super B from YL for 2 years now, which is folate not folic acid (folic acid is synthetic) which folic acid is not good for this mutation, glad i listened to my mom gut. More to come on this as i begin to learn about and tweak his supplement regimen accordingly.
