I have several people ask me what is Tyler’s current regimen. He actually has 2, one in the morning and one at night. We will start with the morning. I change things as we go along and I change out things one at a time, so I can notice if something is helping or not helping. Part Young Living, part not, slowly making the change to all YL products when possible. #puritymatters
In the picture –
the cups
Item taken: 3oz of homemade beef bone broth (chicken is good too)
Reason(s) why: Immune health, joint and cartledge health
Item taken: 2oz of Ningxia Red, 1tbs of ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) and 1tbs Mindwise (in my bottle of Mindwise, I also add 20 drops of black pepper oil when I first open the bottle – black pepper is known to help activate all the goodness of tumeric)
Reasons(s): Antioxidants, immune health, brain and heart health
Above dotted line are all Young Living Products
Item taken: Mineral Essence
Reason(s) why: These are ionic trace minerals I only provide ½ of the recommended dose because Ningxia red (taken above) also has trace minerals. Trace minerals are things that our bodies need daily, they do not store in our bodies but are vital to all parts of our bodies. Trace minerals are very difficult to take if not consumed by capsule (IMO). I have taken trace minerals straight from the bottle and to be truthful – Young Living’s Mineral Essence tastes the best of all trace minerals that I have tried. If you don’t want to make and take a capsule, feel free to apply on the back of the knee and calves (transdermal application) they actually absorb directly into the body without having to go through the digestion process before absorption.
Item taken: Super B
Reason(s) why: All bodies need B vitamins for various things for immune, growth, energy, stress, etc. If you’ve ever browsed the vitamin aisle you know there are MANY B vitamins in various forms, etc. I have taken many B vitamins in my day and given Tyler many too – I have even done the B-12 shots, but nothing has worked as well as the Super B from Young Living. Super B is a purer and cleaner B vitamin and is Folate Acid not Folic Acid. Folic Acid is a synthetic version of Folate. For some bodies, the Folic Acid becomes a heavy metal toxin in the body instead of helping it’s actually harming. For those with the MTFHR mutated gene Folic Acid is not good for your body. Please research the difference between Folate and Folic acid. YES Folate is a little more expensive, because it’s a purer form and is not a chemical (synthetics are generally chemically produced).
Item taken: Multigreens
Reason(s) why: MultiGreens™ is a nutritious chlorophyll formula designed to boost vitality by working with the glandular, nervous, and circulatory systems. (that first sentence is from the YL website) One of the essential oils it is infused with is Melissa which in reading information helps with neurological support. (this combined with Mindwise has been such a great combo for Tyler)
Item taken: Sulfurzyme
Reason(s) why: Why not LOL. No seriously – this is just an amazing supplement, Sulfurzyme® combines wolfberry with MSM, a naturally occurring organic form of dietary sulfur needed by our bodies every day to maintain the structure of proteins, protect cells and cell membranes, replenish the connections between cells, and preserve the molecular framework of connective tissue.* MSM also supports the immune system, the liver, circulation, and proper intestinal function and works to scavenge free radicals. (that first paragraph is from the YL website) What my target use for Tyler on this is gut issues, immune issues and detox issues.
Item taken: Capsule (lemon, lavender, peppermint, copabai and thieves)
Reason(s) why: These capsules change up depending on the day. This particular blend helps support seasonal discomforts, which vary year-round. I can make more than 1 depending on how severe the discomfort is. I change it up using various vitality essential oils to support and help his body fight the good fight whatever challenges may be going at the time. This time of year there are many airborne issues so I try to keep the immune system boosted.
The healthier the immune system, the less need for OTC or prescription meds (if that is a route choosen) most have toxins in them.
UNDER the dotted line – Non YL products
Item taken: Calcium Orotate
Reason(s) why: bone health. Orotate supplements have a better absorption rate. It is just a personal preference that I prefer orotate over citrate. But everyone is different in their preference of supplement choices.
Item taken: CoQ10
Reason(s) why: Brain and memory health. Mindwise also has this supplement in the mix. When I listed to a podcast relating to the neurological issues that Tyler has, it mentioned additional supplementation with the Mindwise of this particular ingredient.
Item taken: Tumeric and Black Pepper
Reason(s) why: Brain and immune health. Mindwise also has this supplement in the mix. But this is a supplement that you can take frequently and even cook with. It’s just additional support
Item taken: Potassium & magnesium
Reason(s) why: It is very hard to obtain enough potassium from just 1 supplement source so I supplement it in various sources. Magnesium is another mineral that is very hard to get the full amount you need from just one source and magnesium is necessary for vitamin and mineral absorption. If you are not getting enough magnesium, then you are really not absorbing your other nutrients. This is a magnesium and potassium as asporate which provide better absorption, at night he takes Magnesium glycinate because it is absorbed by the body easier and more efficiently and is a calming magnesium too. I am also a fan of Magnesium Theorate and rotate the use of glycinate and theorate. There are many forms of magnesium and it’s best to research what your body needs as not all magnesium is the same.
Item taken: D3
Reason(s) why: Immune and mood
